Virtual Sign Language Training – Beginner Level by Pahal Foundation

To promote inclusion and communication accessibility, Pahal Foundation proudly introduced the Virtual Sign Language Training – Beginner Level for individuals interested in learning Indian Sign Language (ISL) in a simple, flexible, and interactive online format.

This beginner-level training was specially designed for government officials, NGO staff, police officers, teachers, special educators, working professionals, HR managers, parents, and all hearing individuals who wish to communicate effectively with the deaf community.

Promoting Inclusion Through Indian Sign Language

The initiative aimed to spread awareness about deaf culture and encourage the use of Indian Sign Language among the general public. Through live online sessions conducted by experienced sign language trainers, participants received an opportunity to build basic communication skills and understand the importance of accessibility and inclusion.

Course Highlights

The 20-hour online training program was conducted over one month with weekday sessions from Monday to Friday. The course included:

Interactive assessments and video-based learning activities helped participants track their progress throughout the training.

Flexible Online Learning

The virtual format made learning convenient and accessible for participants from different backgrounds and locations. Small batch sizes ensured better interaction and personalized guidance during the sessions.
