In August 2020, Pahal Foundation launched a special online personality development training program titled “Deaf Self” for deaf individuals who aspired to improve their communication skills, build confidence, and become future leaders within the deaf community.
The training was conducted by Sujit Sahasrabudhe, who guided participants through interactive sessions focused on self-development, leadership, and independence.
Empowering the Deaf Community
The “Deaf Self” training program was designed to provide deaf participants with an opportunity to strengthen their personality, communication abilities, and self-confidence in a supportive online environment.
The initiative encouraged participants to:
- Improve communication and presentation skills
- Develop leadership qualities
- Build self-confidence and independence
- Learn community engagement and teamwork
- Strengthen personal and professional growth
Training Structure
The online training was conducted over a period of 15 days with sessions scheduled three days a week from Monday to Wednesday.
- Duration: 1 Hour per Day
- Timing: 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM
- Admission Start Date: 12th August 2020
- Last Date to Apply: 14th August 2020
To ensure quality interaction and personalized learning, only 9 seats were made available for the program.

Participants were selected based on their sign language skills to maintain an effective and interactive learning environment.
