Aims & Objectives
Learning Indian Sign Language (ISL) with us is fun, easy & flexible. Our unique online sign language training is a comprehensive introduction for anybody who is interested in learning ISL.
This training is for Government, PSU officials, NGO personnel, Police Officers, Teachers, Educational Assistants, Special Educators working in Schools, Working Professionals, HR Managers, Managers, Parents & all the hearing people.
This initiative is to promote Indian Sign Language among the general public. The virtual training provides an opportunity for people to develop basic ISL communicative skills and is a step towards inclusion. A rich language-learning environment online taught by the best sign language trainers for you to learn then apply to real life.
Duration & Hours
The duration of the beginner level training is for 20 hours. Distributed over a month. The training would be conducted from Monday to Friday for 1 hour per day.
Batch Details
Batch I – 11:00 am to 12:00 pm from Monday to Friday
Batch II– 07:00 pm to 08:00pm from Monday to Friday
*The intake capacity for one batch would be minimum of 8 students and maximum of 10 students.

Assessments
Each lesson ends with an assessment that involves watching short ISL videos. Using these interactive assessments you can keep track of your progress.
Training Fee

Admission process
Interested candidates may register for the training titled “Virtual Sign Language Training – Beginner Level”.
*Registration of students will be done on a first-come basis.
Certificate
Successful completion of the training would be based only on attendance. All students who successfully complete the training will receive an e-certificate of participation for “Virtual Sign Language Training – Beginner Level” by the Pahal Foundation.
*Please note – This is not an RCI or government-recognized training. The certificate received is not to be utilized to work as an Indian Sign Language Interpreter.
