OUR MISSION

At Pahal Foundation, our mission is to create sustainable and accessible pathways that uplift Persons with Disabilities through holistic development, capacity building, and community participation.

We work to achieve this by:

1. Empowering Through Skill Development

Providing structured training, upskilling programs, and employability courses that build confidence, independence, and career readiness among PwDs.

2. Promoting Accessibility & Inclusion

Advocating for accessible spaces, inclusive attitudes, and equal rights in education, workplaces, and society at large.

3. Advancing Indian Sign Language (ISL) & Deaf Awareness

Conducting awareness programs, promoting ISL learning, and creating platforms that celebrate deaf culture and identity.

4. Creating Employment Pathways

Partnering with companies, industries, and training institutions to provide meaningful and dignified job opportunities for PwDs.

5. Strengthening Community Support

Engaging parents, caregivers, educators, and volunteers to build a supportive environment where PwDs feel valued and encouraged.

6. Building Awareness & Sensitization

Organising campaigns, events, and outreach programs to help society understand disability rights, challenges, and the power of inclusion.

7. Enabling Holistic Development

Focusing on personal growth, communication skills, leadership, life skills, and overall well-being of PwDs.
