Pahal Foundation’s journey began much before its formal establishment in 2018. It started with the lived experiences of its founders, Mr. Aniket Selgaonkar and Mr. Pradeep More, who witnessed the challenges faced by Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in every part of daily life. From inaccessible environments and lack of awareness to limited avenues for education and livelihood, the struggle was real and constant. Both founders felt strongly that meaningful change could only happen if society worked with the disabled community—not for them. It was this conviction that sparked the beginning of Pahal Foundation. With a clear purpose and passion, they set out to build a platform that would bridge the gap between talent and opportunity. Through holistic training, skill development, awareness programs, and community engagement, Pahal Foundation works to empower PwDs to become confident, independent, and active participants in society. The early days were filled with challenges, but the impact was immediate. Young people who once felt isolated found a place to learn, grow, and gain confidence. Parents regained hope. Communities began to understand inclusion. And organisations stepped forward to support the movement.Over the years, Pahal Foundation has evolved into a strong network advocating for accessibility, promoting Indian Sign Language, creating employment pathways, and celebrating disability rights across India. What started as a small spark is now a growing movement — driven by compassion, commitment, and a dream to empower every Person with Disability to reach their fullest potential. And the journey has only just begun.
